UPDATE:
Hello!
I hope you are well.
As you may have noticed through contact with your homeroom teachers, our current focus has been on health, safety, and connection. We have been working on surveying how our entire school community is doing and figuring out ways to best serve you.
As I and all of your teachers transition to building a continuity of learning over the next period, we will communicate to you all of your opportunities for learning soon.
By now, you should have received an e-mail from your homeroom teachers about logging on to Office365 and accessing this new, on-line work environment known as Teams. Teams is the app that we will be using for the rest of the school year to finish the rest of our class.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

b. Class Notebook
c. Assignments
d. Grades
2. Chat: Here you will see I have requested that you respond to my post (Thank you to many of you who have done so already). It is also a space for you to chat with your classmates.
YOUR TASK: Please log on to teams and complete the task in the Class Notebook

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions):
Grades?
You all have existing marks to-date for Term 2. This will be the lowest mark you will achieve this year; all work completed from here forward will be entered into the spreadsheet if it increases your mark only.
Textbook? Materials?
Many of you left your textbooks at school. Because of social distancing rules, the school is closed, and access will be very tightly controlled. Therefore, it might be a while before you’re allowed back in. But fear not! I will be providing online copies of all needed materials. As well, I am working to continue updating this website, mslinclass.weebly.com, alongside my use of Teams.
Expectations? Technology? Working from home?
Some of you have communicated to your homeroom teachers that due to various circumstances it is difficult for you to access the tools you need to learn. Know that we are currently gathering all the feedback that you have given your homeroom teachers and are working to address all of these issues. You will be kept updated as more information becomes available. Know that we are all new at this, and that we’re all in this together.
____________________________________________________________________________________
Moving forward, I will be communicating with you through MS Teams and will be available if you message me directly. Please reach out if you have any questions.
I appreciate your patience as we navigate through this together.
Let’s go slow to go fast.
Cheers,
Ms. Lin
